General Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Integration Development Manager is responsible for leading, designing, developing, testing and implementing, integrations for Hertz. They will be an integral part of creating and managing an Integration Factory that is used for all IT projects and contribute as a key member of the data and Integration leadership team. The Integration Development Manager will manage a contract staff and be expected to work in a highly matrixed and outsourced environment.

 

Key Result Areas

  • Will determine and implement innovative and industry best practices using modern designs and tools to achieve data migration, data integration in support of major projects and initiatives.
  • Expert experience leading development teams in the building of system, data, and application level interfaces and functional relationships
  • Assess and plan for the Integration Development team’s future needs. Prepare governing principles and standards to guide future decision making pertinent to Integration development.
  • Determine appropriate operational controls, tools and processes that supplement and enhance the organizations integration development practice.
  • Experience developing data integrations to support large scale IT integration in hybrid cloud environment
  • Continually create process and delivery improvements to reduce interface build cycle time across the transformation
  • Collaborate and contribute in all aspects of integration architecture and development
  • Remains current on data integration, interface development / languages, cloud technologies, and operations trends.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration/Accounting, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.; prefer advanced degree

 

Professional Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience with team leadership, data integration and development and execution of multiple simultaneous and/or large projects.
  • 5+ of experience in at least two IT disciplines (IT operations, data architecture, data integration, SOA, ETL, or ESB administration, and application or integration development)
  • 3+ years’ experience in large scale it transformations
  • 2+ years’ experience in cloud architecture and modern interface development

 

Knowledge:

  • Must have an advanced understanding of data and systems integration to include API’s, SOA, ETL, data mapping, REST, and others, and must maintain knowledge of changing data technologies
  • Experience developing best practices for production support and governance of data technologies
  • Experience overseeing operational management policies and procedures
  • Experience monitoring supplier contracts, specifically tracking performance toward statements of work or service descriptions
  • Prior experience providing architectural solutions, management and support globally

 Skills:

  • Expert in leading large global data migrations and integration efforts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work constructively while under pressure
  • Excellent documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
