  • General Responsibilities

    About the Role:

     

    Our Financial Reporting team is responsible for completing all periodic and annual reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission, and coordinating ad hoc reporting requirements, including certain 8-K reports, offering memorandums, and registration statements. This position will play a critical role in executing many aspects of such reporting.

     

    • Initial preparation of SEC Reports (10-Ks, 10‑Qs, Press Releases) as directed by the manager
    • Preparation of disclosures and schedules in the Company’s earnings release, footnotes, and Management’s Discussion and Analysis tables
    • Preparation of GAAP and SEC reporting checklists
    • Preparation of schedules used in footnote disclosures
      • Earnings per share calculations
      • Fair Value Measurements
      • Depreciation of Revenue Earning Equipment
      • Goodwill and Intangible assets
      • Segment results
      • Other comprehensive income and equity statement reconciliations
      • Commitments and contingencies
      • Leases
      • Reconciliation of net income to EBITDA
      • Other footnotes as required
    • Ability to perform technical accounting research, write summaries and conclusions on such, and stay current on new accounting reporting requirements
    • Coordinate and perform tie-outs of all financial data to supporting schedules
    • XBRL tagging
    • Additional research and special projects as requested

    Mandatory Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA or CPA eligible
    • 1 to 2 years prior experience within a public accounting firm, focusing on publicly-traded entities, or 2 to 3 years industry experience, or combination of both
    • SEC reporting experience preferred
    • HFM and Workiva experience a plus, but not required
    • Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Xcel
    • Must be a detail-oriented and self-motivated team player in a corporate environment
    • Must have a sense of urgency and effectively work in an environment with multiple and frequently concurrent deadlines
    • Must be able to manage time efficiently
    • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and critical-thinking skills, working effectively with the manager, senior director, and various levels of personnel in other departments
    • Must be able to provide a timely, accurate and complete work product of the highest quality
    • Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot issues
