The primary mission of the Operations Research Analyst is to be part of the Operations Research initiatives through design, development and implementation. The individual will need to understand and be able to articulate every step in the Hertz Revenue Management Function. These steps include bounding logic, forecast algorithms, inventory optimization, price optimization, and export controls. The individual will work closely with the Revenue Management Systems support team to provide training and explanations to address concerns raised by the user base, support team, and training team. This individual will interact daily with the Operations Research development team to target areas of improvement in the RMS system and to recommend solutions to unresolved concerns. This person is responsible for QA vendor products. The Analyst would work with co-workers that are highly proficient in modeling and statistics. The Analyst will leverage current tools as well as make recommendations on systems that should be used in Revenue management as it relates to modeling and pricing.
