  • General Responsibilities

    FLEET SPECIALIST – LAS VEGAS

     

    Fleet Specialist handles fleet related functions mostly, but not limited to, Turnbacks, Carsales, and TNC within the Pool to ensure maximum performance through disciplined execution of fleet Objectives. They are responsible for collaborating and maintain good professional relationship with all necessary parties and completing various fleet process within the pool. They will ensure their day to day activities are aligned with strategic goals and objectives of the Pool Fleet Manager (PFM), Car Control Manager and Distribution Manager.

     

    TURNBACK

    • Execute on all day to day activities related to Turnback Reconditioning process
    • Maintain Daily communication with PFM, Maintenance managers, Operation Managers and vendors on all Turnback needs
    • Work TB reports to monitor metrics and ensuring goals and expectations are being met and that all cars are in alignment with current location, holds, and/or physically condition of the cars.
    • Responsible for ensuring cars are properly identified and processed on a timely manner for TB Reconditioning and meets Turnback Guidelines set forth by each MFG.
    • Responsible for staging and prepping cars to be moved to auctions.
    • Identify and communicate all aging units and take necessary action to resolved the issues or challenges.

     

    TNC

    • Execute on all day to day activities related to TNC fleet process
    • Maintain daily communication with TNC Branch Managers, Maintenance, Fleet, and Transporter Vendor to complete daily task.
    • Work TNC Fleet Reports to ensure alignment with current location, holds and/or physical condition of the cars.
    • Perform Daily inventory of Fleet in the TNC Overflow area and ensuring they are marked accordingly.
    • Properly Identify, validate, and stage Non-Rentable and Rentable units and take necessary action to make them Ready for Rentals.
    • Coordinate Infleet and Annual Renewal Process with maintenance and car control on Inspections and Registrations.
    • Coordinate OOS units that are at TNC location that are needed to be processed at the TNC OVERFLOW area.
    • Identify and communicate all aging units and take necessary action to resolved the issues or challenges.
    • Maintain awareness of all branches TNC fleet needs. Attend Weekly TNC Calls.

     

    CARSALES.

    • Execute on all day to day activities related to Carsales Defleet Process. Wholesale, Dealer Direct, Retail and Rent to Buy units.
    • Perform daily/weekly inventory of the RHP, AM and PM. Ensuring all units are properly marked based on Defleet holds.
    • Work Carsales report to ensure alignment with current location, holds and/or physical condition of the cars.
    • Identify and communicate all aging units and take necessary action to resolved the issues or challenges.
      • Dealer Direct
        • Maintain daily communications with Hertz Dealer Direct Reps, Buyers, Carrier/Dispatch on all Dealer Direct needs.
        • Responsible for coordinating with the carrier/dispatch and/or Dealer Direct Rep and ensuring correct sold units are ready for pick up.
      • Retail
        • Maintain daily communications with Hertz Retail Staff on all Retail needs.
        • Responsible for ensuring Retail cars are staged, retail ready, and meet minimum standards before shipping to retail lot.
      • Rent 2 Buy
        • Maintain daily communication with Rent 2 Buy location(s), Transporters and Operations on all Rent2Buy needs.
        • Responsible for ensuring cars are located, identified accordingly, and moved to operation or maintenance to be processed.
        • Coordinate with Transporter to deliver processed and ready units 24 hours before the reservation pick up date.
      • Wholesales (auction)
        • Maintain daily communication with PFM and Auction Drivers on all wholesale needs.
        • Responsible for identifying, staging, and/or processed auction cars for Pick up.

    Mandatory Requirements

    Educational Background:

    • High School degree or equivalent preferred

     

    Professional Experience:

    • Prior experience in the car rental industry preferred.
