    Overview: Our internship program will give you a chance to get real world business experience and build your network before graduation.  We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization.

     

    Summary:  This Software Development Internship position provides an opportunity for students who are currently pursuing a computer science, computer engineering, or like engineering degree to get hands on experience working with software developers in a fast-paced software design and software quality assurance environment. The software intern will contribute to development projects and advance best design practices.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide engineering support related to product development projects including testing and design
    • Support a variety of software development activities and may be assigned to a variety of development tasks throughout the department
    • Be involved with many aspects of software quality assurance and some software design and analysis tasks
    • Learn about software development through daily activities
    • Specific tasks will be tailored to the software interns experience level and abilities
    • A software intern works under the close supervision of developers, project managers, and technical team leads

    Mandatory Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Undergraduate students entering their junior or senior year will be considered
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
    • Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
    • Desire to contribute and improve design of new and existing software products
    • Exceptional customer focus
    • Familiarity with of least one software development tool set such as Java
    • Training on Relational Design, database internals required.
    • Aptitude for writing high quality software
