We are seeking a Manager of Internal Communications to join our dynamic team. The Manager will serve as an integral part of the Hertz Corporate Communications team reporting to the Senior Director of Internal Communications.
This person will be responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies and engagement efforts to help drive transformation initiatives at Hertz and its family of brands. The role will initially support our business-critical, end-to-end IT transformation initiative, where we’re updating 30-year legacy systems to new modernized, integrated technology that can help us capture true customer insights and buying preferences to better serve our customers and drive increased revenue for the business. This person will manage the day-to-day internal communications aligned to our IT transformation, partnering with Organizational Change Management and Corporate Communications to develop, implement and oversee communication programs and channels that effectively promote and build commitment for change initiatives. The IT Transformation is a one- to two-year endeavor, and this role will then pivot to support additional change initiatives.
This position will also provide intra-team communications updates and propose strategic communications activities to support transparency and rigor of communications to our global IT team. This role will partner with our Director of Communications aligned to our Chief Information Officer to provide counsel to our IT project management team, including Operations, and will be a key contributor in a fast-paced, complex and constantly changing, turnaround environment.

We are looking for 5 part time rental car transporters for our maintenance facility at 4555 Old International Airport Road near the Anchorage Airport. This is a great opportunity for a retired person looking to keep busy, someone supplementing their income or those who are looking to see if the car rental business is for them!
Aa a transporter, you will bring cars from the Hertz Returns area to maintenance. then once in maintenance, if the car can't be fixed by us, you will drive the car to a dealership for repair. You could also pick up cars from body shops and return them to maintenance and/or move cars to and from the downtown location. There is LOTS of walking between the shops and cars, plus there are stairs so you will definitely get some exercise!
*We need people comfortable driving all kinds of cars from compact to large vans in all kinds of weather.
**This is a casual, part time position 20-24 hours a week 5 days on 2 days off at times. Hours will likely be between 8a-6pm.
Your general responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Transports vehicles safely within the airport to various service areas.
- Safely moves vehicles between airport and off-airport locations.

As the Production Quality Manager (PQM), you are responsible for the coaching, management, and leadership of VSA employees as well as operations. The PQM works to ensure that we are providing the highest level of quality utilizing the most efficient methods for preparing cars. The PQM helps make sure that everyone in Vehicle Service consistently executes Hertz’s rigorous vehicle preparation process so that every vehicle meets Hertz’s heritage of vehicle safety and quality. The PQM completes quality audits of the fleet as well as standard work audits utilizing the Akkroo application. PQM works closely with our third party vendor and the Ultimate Choice Lot Manager to successfully implement the replenishment model. PQM will work closely with the Value Stream Leader VSA/IR to maintain accurate metrics and to utilize them for the continuous improvement of the VSA operations.

Candidate must have a clean driving record and possess a valid US driver's license. This is an hourly paid position and pay is based on current scale. Nominal overtime required as needed.
As a Hertz VSA...
- You'll be responsible for vehicle preparation to ensure vehicle is ready for customer pick-up.
- Drive and park vehicles on-lot as needed.
- Check for vehicle damage and ensure features of the vehicles are operational.
- Check vehicle status. (rentable/non-rentable)
- Ensure interior of vehicle is clean. (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, etc)
- Fill gasoline tank and check fill levels of all fluids
- Clean the exterior of vehicle. (debug and wash)
- Meet processing and standardization quotas.
- Perform related tasks as directed by managers.
- Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Hertz Local Edition is seeking professionals to drive our vehicles to various locations while providing our best in class customer service. As a Transporter you will pick up and drop off customers and deliver vehicles from the Hertz Local addition office to various locations.
The general responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Transports vehicles from Hertz Local Edition offices to various locations.
- Will pick-up and drop-off customers as required.
- Must interface with vendors such as body shops, dealerships, and insurance agents.
- Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy.
